Michael Sims, DC
Dr. Michael Sims was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania. Growing up with a big family, he has 5 siblings…2 brothers and 3 sisters. Having a sister born with cerebral palsy (CP), he learned at a young age his passion for helping people.
All throughout his childhood, he spent more time outdoors than anywhere else. Whether it was climbing trees, riding his bicycle, or just being in the woods; he enjoyed being in nature. This still holds true today. Dr. Sims enjoys bicycling and playing various sports ranging from volleyball to golf. In his spare time, he also enjoys working with wood by creating something new or just bringing old furniture back to life.
One of his favorite quotes is: “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
Dr. Sims met his wife, Paloma, while on vacation in San Diego. They both have a passion for helping people and can often be seen together volunteering at a local organization that helps people find a purpose in their lives. Along with their dog Ari, they enjoy living and working in East Dallas.
Dr. Sims knew at an early age he wanted to be a Chiropractor. He grew up watching his sister go through the medical world and though she received the great care it always seemed something was missing. At the age of 14, he began working toward his goal of becoming a doctor of Chiropractic. When he finally finished everything he needed to enter Chiropractic College, he picked up his life and relocated to Dallas.
Dr. Sims received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic right here in Dallas, TX. He completed the 4 part board examinations with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is licensed with the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr. Sims has been serving the Dallas Texas area since 2008. Dr. Sims strives to provide excellent service and quality health care to every one of his patients.
